I am almost done with 2006 and 2007! This page is for the title page in our 2006 family album. And it is the new SOUS sketch! Yup, got done early this week!

The Guys Layout (SG Page Kit)

I am experimenting with page kits. I wanted to try them out to reduce my list of pages for my family scrapbooks. Only 43 LO left! Well, as long as I don't take any more pictures lol! My goal is to get completely caught up with my family pages by the end of the year. This is a kit from Scrapbook Generations ( scrapbookgeneration.com ) I love their pages!

Dinosaurs!

2007 was the year of the dinosaur. Sue the Dino came to our museum. And we went to Walking with Dinosaurs. We loved it! We are bummed that we probably wont get to go next month when they come back. But, we have to keep saving for vacation (2 months away!!!)

As for our soccer tournament, we made it to the semi-finals. My kid got all our goals all weekend! With a grand total of 12! They did awesome!

StuckOnUSketches Challenge #20

Up early today, we have 3 soccer games for a tournament today! I made this page in about one hour from start to finish! Love this weeks SOUS sketch! This is our cat Frodo. I adopted him from the humane society in 2007. He was so little and cute, now he is huge! I am slowly filling holes in my 2007 album, hoping to get it done this month. The sketch...

Movie Layout

I actually got a little scraping done today! I collected our movie tickets from last year, just to see how many there were (we go to a lot of movies), with a grand total of 34! I thought it was scrap worthy. I made a list of the movies we saw and every ones top two. This was a really fun page to make!

As a child of the 80's, I have to mention how upset I am about Corey Haim. I woke up Wednesday morning and went to check my email before work, and read that he was dead. I actually yelled "Oh my God!" I was absolutely in LOVE with him when I was a kid. I cant belive he is gone. I kept waiting for him to make his come back. I thought he would when he was in Crank 2. I have been glued to the internet, waiting to hear more news about what happened to him. I so hope it wasn't drugs that killed him. I don't want him to be remembered as "just another celebrity who overdosed". I just hope that he is at peace now.

I must say, this was not my favorite sketch, or my favorite layout! Definitely a challenge! I made a page, then took it apart and made it again. But I am officially out of Christmas layout I have to make, until the end of the year, of course! The sketch....
