This week...

I am a little bit slacky. Is slacky a word? Well I don't know if its slacking or just being busy with work, basketball and soccer with William and what ever else comes up. Seems like the days are so short right now. I have so many ideas and things that are inspiring me to create right now, but not enough time to get them done! BUT, I am determined to post something weekly. Sooo. Here are some layouts that I have done with Basic Grey kits (I love them). These kits have really helped me to get out of my many funks and get a page done. AND, last year I found a bunch of the kits at Ross for 3.99 each! Can you imagine? 3.99! Needless to say, I nearly bought them out.

Challenge & New Project

Okay, since I'm trying to keep up with a post every week, I actually made myself sit down an get a few things done.
This layout is from our 2010 trip to Disneyland. I wanted to get back to doing challenges, so I picked the silhouette challenge at StuckOnU Sketches. I haven't done a StuckOnU Challenge forever!
I saw this sign on a website, and liked it. But I was not willing to spend 60 dollars for it. So I got out my cricut, some vinyl and some canvas and made my own sign.
Here's mine. I got to add butterflies! The picture looks very white, but its more of a tan color. I think it turned out okay. :) I need more practice with vinyl, I think.

Back!

It's so long since I have posted! I am still alive, for anyone who actually still checks this blog. I have been saying to myself that I really need to stop being lazy and post something! I haven't really been very creative recently. :( I am starting to feel withdrawls. I need to get my creative juices flowing. I HAVE made a few things in the past couple months I can share.

I moved back in October and changed the decor in my bathroom to owls (I know kinda weird bathroom decor, but I found an awesome owl shower curtain) So I dusted off the cricut and made some plaques for my bathroom wall.

I kept seeing similar plaques in the stores, but I didn't want to spend 30$ each for them, so made my own!

For Christmas I gave my mom and sister these invitations to "be my guest" to Broadway's Beauty and the Beast. I have to say that the show was soooo awesome! I wish I could have taken pictures, but they are so strict about photos during the show. :(
The inside of the invite.

That's it for now. I am going to try and post weekly (maybe more). Fingers crossed that I can keep it up! Until next time!
